Social Networking goes to the dogs…and cats

A pet owner created two networks within the popular social networking site, Facebook, aptly named Catbook and Dogbook. Pets, with a little help from their owners, can post pictures, send messages, and will soon share videos. The networks have already garnered 600,000 users.

Geoffrey Roche, the creator, said, “You really join a community of other people who love their dog and love their cat.” Roche added, “In my case, in fact, I have more dog friends than I do people friends.”

Don’t get too caught up though, your dog still needs a walk
